June 15, 2026 | Education | Workshops

Led by Irum Amin, Education Committee Outreach Lead, this engaging workshop explored how educational theories can be applied to enhance medical education.

As part of the Mentorship Programme 2026 workshop series, participants examined key concepts including Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Vygotsky’s Zone of Proximal Development, and Schön’s Reflective Practice, discussing how these theories can support effective teaching, learner engagement, and professional development.

The session highlighted practical ways educators can use educational theory to create supportive learning environments, provide meaningful feedback, and foster reflective practice.
