We would like to announce a call for nominations for four new Board members.
ESOT/VCA affiliates are eligible to submit their application for the positions.
The intention of the ESOT VCA Section is to foster the scientific and clinical development of Vascularized Composite Allotransplantation in Europe and to serve as a platform for scientists and clinicians for information exchange between ESOT and the Vascularized Composite Allotransplantation Community.
How to apply for a VCA Section Board position
If you wish to actively participate in the Board activities and apply for a position, please send the following materials to Anne Dissing (anne.dissing@esot.org) no later than 20 May 2021.
- A short CV;
- A recent picture (size: min. 200×200 px; recommended format: .png);
- A motivational letter, max. 300 words long, in which you are invited to propose what you could add to the current board composition (special knowledge, network, …) as well as innovative ideas.
Voting will take place online after nominations are collected.
The new Board members will take office at the ESOT Congress 2021 for a term of two years, which can be extended by a second term of two years.
Please note that you need to be an ESOT member in good standing, with VCA affiliation in order to participate in the elections – both as a candidate and as a voter.
Therefore, we kindly ask to make sure that you are in good standing with your 2021 ESOT membership and that you are formally affiliated with VCA.
Check here. If you have any doubts about your affiliation or any other inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact Anne Dissing (anne.dissing@esot.org).
The VCA Board is strongly committed to principles of diversity and inclusion and promotes balance in geographic and professional representation. Members of traditionally underrepresented groups are particularly encouraged to apply.
