YPT Call for Nominations

We would like to announce a call for nominations for six new Board members.

The new YPT Board members will hold office for 4 years (2021-2025), effective from the ESOT Congress 2021.

The Young Professionals in Transplantation (YPT) is the Network for Junior Transplant professionals of ESOT, representing all young transplant clinicians and scientists who are beginning a career in transplantation and organ donation.

 

How to apply for the YPT Board positions

All ESOT/YPT affiliates at the early stages of their career in the field of organ transplantation (permanent members of staff within 5 years of their appointment, and trainees) in good standing are welcome to send applications for these positions.

Please send the following materials to Anne Dissing (anne.dissing@esot.orgno later than 20 May 2021.

  • A short CV;
  • A recent picture (size: min. 200×200 px; recommended format: .png);
  • A statement on your commitment to the Committee and how you plan to contribute to its activities and mission. The statement shall be max. 300 words long;

 

The YPT Board is strongly committed to principles of diversity and inclusion, and promotes balance in geographic and professional representation, as well as encourages participation by members of traditionally underrepresented groups. Therefore, applications from underrepresented groups will be given preferential consideration. The Board reserves the right to shortlist candidates on the basis of their specialty.

 

Voting will take place online after applications are collected.

Please note that you need to be an ESOT Member in good standing, with YPT affiliation in order to participate in the elections – both as a candidate and as a voter. Therefore, we kindly ask to make sure that you are in good standing with your 2021 ESOT membership and that you are formally affiliated with YPT. Check here.
