ESOT Masterclass ‘From Liquid Biopsy to Tissue Gene Expression: The Impact of New Technologies on Clinical Practice in Solid Organ Transplantation (SOT)’
Applications are open for the anticipated ESOT Masterclass focusing on the advances in molecular biology technology and their impact on diagnosing and characterising transplant rejection.
About the Masterclass
Recent progress in biology technology has paved the way for promising biomarkers like Peripheral blood gene expression profiling (GEP) and cell-free DNA (cfDNA) for invasive diagnosis and characterisation of allograft rejection. This masterclass will explore the benefits of using circulating GEP and cfDNA of invasive tissue biopsy providing quantitative measures to detect transplant rejection, optimise immunosuppression and monitor treatment progress.
