ESOT members will be eligible to apply from 11 August 2026 for a 12-month mentorship journey designed to support their professional growth in transplantation.
The ESOT Mentorship Programme connects transplant professionals with experienced international mentors, offering personalised guidance, career development and meaningful professional support.
Exclusively available to ESOT members, the programme provides selected mentees with:
- One-to-one guidance from established leaders in transplantation
- Support in defining career goals and strengthening their professional direction
- Access to an international community of mentors, mentees and alumni
- The opportunity to visit their mentor’s centre
Mentors will have the opportunity to:
- Share their experience and expertise
- Support the professional development of colleagues
- Give back to the transplantation community
- Expand their professional network
- Further develop their management and leadership skills
Since its launch, the programme has completed three editions, bringing together 17 mentors and 20 mentees from 12 countries.
Who can apply?
ESOT members from all disciplines in transplantation are welcome to apply:
- Early-career professionals seeking guidance and direction
- Professionals approaching a transition point in their career
- Members of underrepresented and/or marginalised groups, who are particularly encouraged to apply
- Senior experts and experienced ESOT members who are keen to share their knowledge, support colleagues’ professional development and help shape the next generation of transplantation professionals.
Applications will open on 11 August 2026 and close on 27 October 2026.
