Over the course of several inspiring days, the HESPERIS Course once again brought together a passionate international community of transplant professionals to learn, exchange ideas and strengthen connections across the field of organ transplantation.
The course continues to provide a strong educational foundation in transplantation, covering key topics including immunology, indications, organ donation, recipient management and regenerative medicine. Designed for both newcomers and professionals looking to deepen their expertise, HESPERIS remains a unique platform for education, collaboration and professional growth.
What truly defines the course, however, is the people behind it.
A special thank you goes to the course co-chairs and Education Committee for their continued dedication to refining and elevating the programme year after year, as well as to the faculty members who shared their expertise through engaging lectures, open discussions and thoughtful debate.
ESOT also extends its gratitude to its valued partners for their continued support: Astellas through an unrestricted educational grant; Bridge to Life Ltd., Annual Partner of the Machine Perfusion Track 2026; and Chiesi Nederland and Hansa Biopharma.
Most importantly, thank you to all participants whose curiosity, enthusiasm and engagement made this year’s edition another impactful and memorable learning experience.
Congratulations also to Sanja Tegeltija, recipient of the Paolo Muiesan Award for the best case study presentation.
Here’s to another successful edition of the HESPERIS Course, and to the continued growth of the global transplant community.
