EPITA Call for Nominations

November 8, 2022 | General | Islets | Pancreas

EPITA – The European Pancreas and Islet Transplant Association announce a call for nominations for two new Board members.

All ESOT_EPITA affiliates are welcome to send nominations for these positions. In addition, you may nominate yourself or a colleague. The new EPITA Board Members will hold office for four years (2023-2027), starting 25 January 2023.

In addition, considering the specialities currently represented on the Board, EPITA encourages applications from either diabetes physicians or nephrologists with an interest in Beta Cell Replacement Therapy or transplant surgeons. The expectation is that successful candidates will become actively involved in the Association by attending Board meetings, educational events (courses), and the annual meetings, e.g., the EPITA Symposium, the EPITA Specialty Update Symposium at the ESOT Congress, and the TLJ. Please note that Board members act as volunteers and thus serve without compensation.

The EPITA Board is strongly committed to principles of diversity and inclusion and promotes balance in geographic and professional representation. Members of traditionally underrepresented groups are particularly encouraged to apply.
