We are opening the call for applications for the next Editor in Chief of Transplant International. The successful candidate will begin their term on 1 March 2026, following a transition period with our current editorial leadership.
This is a significant opportunity for a leader in transplantation to guide a journal central to ESOT’s mission. The Editor in Chief will help shape the scientific direction of the field, strengthen the journal’s alignment with ESOT’s strategic priorities, and expand the use of modern publishing tools and multimedia.
Applications must be submitted as a single PDF to ESOT CEO, Devi Mey, at devi.mey@esot.org by 31 December 2025.
Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed in January, with a final decision expected on 10 February 2026 and an announcement to the ESOT community in mid February.
