YPT- The Young Professionals in Transplantation Committee- would like to announce a call for nominations for three Board members. The new YPT Board Member will hold office for four years (2025-2029), starting in September 2025.
All ESOT/YPT affiliates are eligible to submit their applications for the positions. You may nominate yourself or a colleague.
In addition, considering the specialties currently represented on the Board, YPT encourages applications from junior transplant professionals (permanent members of staff within 5 years of their appointment and trainees). The expectation is that successful candidates will become actively involved in the Association by attending Board meetings, educational events (courses), and the annual meetings. Please note that Board members act as volunteers and thus serve without compensation.
The YPT Board is strongly committed to principles of diversity and inclusion and promotes balance in geographic and professional representation. Members of traditionally underrepresented groups are particularly encouraged to apply.

The Young Professionals in Transplantation (YPT) is the Network for Junior Transplant professionals of ESOT, representing all young transplant clinicians and scientists who are beginning a career in transplantation and organ donation. YPT serves as a bridge between senior clinicians and researchers and junior professionals to provide advice and mentoring for a successful career in transplantation. - A recent picture (Orientation: Portrait (vertical); Size: Minimum 1000 x 1500 pixels; High resolution; background: Neutral or plain preferred)
- A short CV (2 sides max)
- A statement on your commitment to the Section and how you plan to contribute to its activities and mission. The statement shall be max. 300 words long.

Please note that you need to be an ESOT member in good standing and affiliated with YPT to participate in the elections.
