Transplant International: Call for reviews addressing hot topics in transplant ethics, donation and policies

June 18, 2021 | Ethics, Law and Psychosocial | General | Organ donation | Patients

Dear Colleague,

Transplant International‘s Editorial Taskforce is issuing an Open Call for authors to submit reviews addressing hot topics in the field of transplant ethics, donation and policies. Proposals must focus on a new and upcoming field in donation and transplantation, encourage debate and be thought-provoking. All submissions undergo anonymous peer review and are subject to editorial processes.

Manuscripts are to be submitted through Scholar One manuscript central and must adhere to the Review Manuscript criteria:

  • Word Limit: 4000 words including abstract but excluding references, tables and figures;
  • Abstract: 200 words maximum
  • References: No limit

The instructions for authors can be found here.

If appropriate, papers other than reviews can be submitted, such as opinion papers (“Point of View”), Commentaries on recent publications or breaking news (“News and Views”).

We hope you will be able to support this call and promulgate it within your group. A contribution will then be encouraged within 90 days.

If you give the editorial team suggestions for topics and authors, they will review these and the proposed authors may receive, within a few days, an e-mail from the editorial office instructing them how to submit a manuscript.

Queries about this Call can be sent to Dr. Frederike Ambagtsheer (j.ambagtsheer@erasmusmc.nl).

Sincerely,

on behalf of Transplant International’s Editorial Board,

Prof. Anna Forsberg                                                                                     Dr. David Paredes
