Transplant International Webinar: Redefine the keyhole: HCC downstaging and suitability for transplantation
Morphometric features such as the Milan criteria serve as standard criteria for liver transplantation (LT) in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Since it has been recognised that these criteria are too restrictive and do not adequately display the tumor biology, additional selection parameters are emerging in the field.
A new paper published in Transplant International, titled “Patient Selection for Downstaging of Hepatocellular Carcinoma Prior to Liver Transplantation—Adjusting the Odds?”, discusses these additional parameters in further detail.
To mark the publication of this article, we are delighted to host a webinar with authors of the paper and leading experts from the field.
The webinar, “Redefine the keyhole: HCC downstaging and suitability for transplantation”, will provide participants to gain first-hand insight and the opportunity to ask burning questions to experts.
