The demand for organs far surpasses the available supply. Furthermore, there are disparities in accessing transplantation services, which lead to health outcomes. Addressing these concerns, the European Society for Organ Transplantation (ESOT) has introduced its manifesto titled “Shaping EU Policy; ESOT’s Vision for Equitable Organ Transplantation.” This visionary document outlines ESOT’s dedication to eliminating inequalities in organ transplantation throughout Europe. Provides a roadmap to achieve this noble objective from 2024 to 2029.
