Recommendations from Workstream 6 of the ESOT Transplantation Learning Journey (TLJ 2.0) project, concerning the management of the patient with HLA antibodies
We are pleased to present the recommendations from Workstream 6 of the ESOT Transplantation Learning Journey (TLJ 2.0) project, concerning the management of the patient with HLA antibodies. Over recent months, our group has been reviewing the evidence and discussing the practical implications for these patients, who as we all know, form an increasing proportion of our waiting list, and who often endure a long or indefinite wait for a transplant.
The aim is to publish these as guidelines in the near future, but this will only be possible with your help – we need you to comment on these recommendations, and to let us know what should be different and what has been missed.
Our plan is to listen to comments over the next few weeks, then to present a revised draft to an ad hoc meeting on the 28th August, after which we will aim to finalise the document for publication.
We sincerely hope you can participate in this process, and your help will be invaluable.
on behalf of the WS06 TLJ group
