From 10-12 October 2025, Greece will host European Donation Day (EDD) in collaboration with the Hellenic Transplant Organisation. Events include the plenary of the European Committee on Organ Transplantation, an international scientific conference in Kalamata, public outreach in both cities, and the illumination of landmarks in green, the colour of organ donation awareness.
EDD 2025 aims to raise awareness, share expertise, and strengthen Europe-wide support for organ donation and transplantation, encouraging citizens to join the movement using #EuropeanDonationDay.
