ESOT’s Young Professionals in Transplantation (YPT) has announced the appointment of three new board members for the 2025–2029 term.
The newly appointed members are Madita Buch, researcher at the Centre for Regenerative Medicine, University of Edinburgh – Innsbruck, Austria; Jasper Callemeyn, postdoctoral fellow at Medizinische Universität – Leuven, Belgium; and Sarah Micallef, resident specialist in nephrology and general medicine – Marsascala, Malta.
Established in 2011, YPT provides early-career professionals in transplantation with a platform for mentorship, education, networking, and international collaboration. The group plays an important role in supporting the next generation of leaders and strengthening ties between emerging professionals and established experts in the field.
With the new board members in place, YPT reaffirms its commitment to advancing professional development and fostering innovation within the transplantation community.
