ESOT is pleased to announce the appointment of Lissete Aviles, David Cucchiari, Rhys Evans, and Peri Husen to the Education Committee Board. Their expertise and commitment will strengthen ESOT’s mission to advance education, training, and professional development in the field of transplantation.

About the Education Committee

The Education Committee is at the heart of ESOT’s work, designing and delivering a wide range of programmes that support healthcare professionals at every stage of their careers. From masterclasses and courses to outreach and mentorship initiatives, the committee’s goal is to:

  • Drive excellence in transplantation science and clinical practice
  • Provide multidisciplinary education tailored to diverse professional needs
  • Build a strong, connected community of transplant professionals across Europe and beyond

Welcoming New Leadership

The four new members bring diverse backgrounds and perspectives that will enhance the committee’s ability to deliver innovative and impactful education:

  • Lissete Aviles – Allied Healthcare Professional Lead 2025-2028
  • David Cucchiari – Transplant Live Lead 2025-2028
  • Rhy Evans – Courses and Collaborations Lead 2025-2028
  • Peri Husen – Basic Science Lead 2025-2028

Together with the existing committee, they will play a pivotal role in shaping ESOT’s educational strategy for the years ahead.
