We’re thrilled to announce that the LEOPARD Project has released its first newsletter — a key milestone in our shared mission to transform liver transplantation across Europe.
Backed by the EU’s Horizon Europe programme, LEOPARD is developing a next-generation digital platform to make liver allocation smarter, faster, and more equitable. By integrating artificial intelligence, real-time data exchange, and clinical decision-support tools, the project is equipping transplant teams with the means to make better-informed, data-driven decisions and to improve outcomes for patients throughout Europe.
In this inaugural edition, you’ll find:
-
A comprehensive overview of the platform initiative and what it aims to achieve
-
Early insights into how AI and machine learning are being built into the workflow
-
An introduction to the project’s consortium partners and their roles
-
An outline of the key milestones ahead, and how you can stay engaged
At the European Society for Organ Transplantation, we’re proud to support LEOPARD’s vision and to stand alongside its partners as we drive digital transformation and bolster collaboration in transplantation. Together, we’re creating a future that is more connected, efficient, and patient-centred.
