EKITA Call for nominations 2026

April 1, 2026 | Kidney

EKITA, the European Kidney Transplant Section of ESOT, would like to announce a call for nominations for one new Board member. The new EKITA Board Member will hold office for four years (2026-2030), starting in September 2026.

All ESOT/EKITA affiliates are eligible to submit their applications for the positions. You may nominate yourself or a colleague.

The expectation is that successful candidates will become actively involved in the Association by attending Board meetings, educational events (courses), and the annual meetings. Please note that Board members act as volunteers and thus serve without compensation.

Considering the current composition of the Board, applications from transplant surgeons are particularly encouraged.

The EKITA Board is strongly committed to principles of diversity and inclusion and promotes balance in geographic and professional representation. Members of traditionally underrepresented groups are particularly encouraged to apply.
