APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN for the 2nd Workshop for Young Professionals in Transplantation on Living Organ Donation on June 16 in Gubbio, Italy
The Workshop is organised in combination with the 10th Living Donor Abdominal Transplant Conference on June 17-18 in Gubbio, Italy
The first edition of this Workshop was held in 2018 in Matera, Italy, and turned out to be a great success. A dynamic group of next generation leaders in living donation attended, discussing the ‘ins and outs’ of living donation in an interactive and stimulating environment.
The concept of the Workshop aims to attract the younger generation to discuss a variety of aspects, exchange ideas in regards to living organ donation in the presence of senior faculty from Europe and the USA.
The Workshop involves young transplant surgeons, physicians, specialised nurses as well as allied health care professionals. Following the Workshop YPT, participants are invited to attend the subsequent main meeting on 17 and 18 June 2022.
Attendance of the Workshop and Conference is free for participating YPT (<40 yrs). In addition, travel grants (€500) for 30 YPT will be awarded and a block reservation for affordable hotel accommodation (€60 p.n.) has been made.
APPLICATION
The workshop is open to 30 Young Professionals in Transplantation who will submit their CV and Motivation letter via email to Professor Ploeg: rutger.ploeg@nds.ox.ac.uk
The deadline for the application is 8 May 2022.
