Current policies and practices in donation, transplantation and after care differ across Europe, which results in unequal transplantation access and disparate patient outcomes. It is imperative that we strive for equity in access and quality in the field, regardless of where patients live.
In partnership with Takeda, ESOT is pleased to host a session at the European Health Forum Gastein on Tuesday 27 September 2022.
The session, titled “A level playing field for transplant patients – Spurring action across Europe”, will explore what needs to be done to facilitate equity, efficiency, quality and safety for all transplant patients across the continent.
Speakers at the session will encompass patients, clinicians, data experts, national officials and EU policymakers. We warmly invite attendees to attend this session, either onsite at the Forum (Room 1) or online, from 17:00-18:30 CEST on Tuesday 27 September 2022.
