The Vascularized Composite Allotransplantation (VCA) Section is pleased to announce a call for nominations for four new Board members. The elected members will serve two years (2026-2028) with a maximum of two consecutive terms. One of the four positions is reserved for a professional working in the field of uterus transplantation.
All ESOT/VCA affiliates are welcome to send nominations for these positions. You may nominate yourself or a colleague.
In addition, considering the specialties currently represented on the Board, VCA encourages applications from active centers, clinical/research and uterus transplant groups. The Board particularly welcomes applications from countries currently not represented on the Board. The expectation is that successful candidates will become actively involved in the Association by attending Board meetings, educational events (courses), and the annual meetings. Please note that Board members act as volunteers and thus serve without compensation.
The VCA Board is strongly committed to principles of diversity and inclusion and promotes balance in geographic and professional representation. Members of traditionally underrepresented groups are particularly encouraged to apply.
