TransplantGo launches: a new digital learning platform for transplant patients

December 22, 2025 | General | Patients

We are pleased to announce the launch of TransplantGo, a new digital education platform created to support transplant patients throughout their post-transplant journey.

TransplantGo offers a structured, user-friendly learning experience that combines organ-specific pathways (kidney, liver, heart, lung) with essential post-transplant
knowledge applicable across transplant types. The platform has been developed by a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including transplant physicians,
nurses, psychologists, pharmacists, infectious disease specialists and nutritionists, and integrates real-life insights from transplant patients themselves.

Each patient journey begins with the selection of their transplanted organ, unlocking a dedicated learning space that includes:

  • Welcome videos from transplant recipients
  • Short, focused educational videos from specialists
  • Knowledge-check questions to support understanding
  • Downloadable resources for practical day-to-day reference

The platform currently launches with a beta version for kidney transplantation, with liver, lung and heart pathways structured and expanding in parallel.

By combining clinical expertise, patient voice and engaging digital formats, TransplantGo aims to empower patients, reinforce adherence, and support long-term outcomes
beyond hospital visits.

Patients and professionals can explore the platform at: https://transplantgo.com

TransplantGo is powered by ESOT and supported by Chiesi Farmaceutici with an unconditional grant. Sponsorship funding from Chiesi Farmaceutici is used solely for the
development and maintenance of the website. Chiesi Farmaceutici has not participated in the development of nor has it exercised any influence over the content of the
platform.
