EPITA is established to provide a forum for those working in the field of pancreas and islet of Langerhans transplantation or any other alternative form of beta cell replacement in Europe, to exchange scientific information and views related primarily to providing the best service for patients in Europe requiring pancreas or islet transplantation.

The new edition of Newsletter Transplant 2025 has been published by the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM), in collaboration with the Spanish National Transplant Organisation (ONT).

This comprehensive annual report presents the latest global data on organ donation and donation, based on contributions from more than 70 countries. The 2025 issue includes detailed analyses of transplant activity, waiting list dynamics, and international comparisons, offering valuable support for evidence-based decision-making across the transplant community.
