ESOT Pre-Congress Day | 28 June 2025 – A day to connect, learn & inspire Open to all: professionals, patients, advocates & the transplant community

Before the official start of the ESOT Congress, we invite you to participate in a special Pre-Congress Day on Saturday, 28 June, designed to unite everyone who shapes and experiences the transplant journey.

Opening Keynote | Understanding Non-Adherence

We begin the day with a powerful session led by Professor Varuna Aluvihare (UK): “Non-adherence – Why it happens and why it matters”
This keynote explores the human and medical aspects of adherence in transplant care, a topic that affects everyone in the transplant community.

Choose your masterclass

After the keynote, participate in one of three engaging parallel sessions, each designed to reflect diverse perspectives in transplantation:

The ESOT Legacy Project

We will conclude the day by reconvening for the unveiling of the ESOT Legacy Project, led by Raj Thuraisingham. This initiative emphasises giving back and connecting science and care with the real lives and stories behind transplantation.

This day signifies more than just a prelude to the Congress; it invites us to listen, share, and grow together as a unified transplant community.

Whether you are a professional, a patient, a caregiver, or an advocate, you have a role in this conversation.
