ESOT and Chiesi have joined forces and engaged in a collaborative project aimed at raising awareness of the experience of people who received a kidney transplant and at providing support to the whole transplanted community.
The primary outcome of this collaboration is the creation of an educational tool, the “Patient Diary”, which aims at fostering patient literacy and empowering the community.
The Patient Diary project has actively involved healthcare professionals and people with a transplant experience, ensuring a collaborative and comprehensive approach. The diary aims at providing guidance to prospective and current transplanted individuals, their families and dear ones, by offering valuable insights and reliable information to help them understanding and navigating the transplant journey.
ESOT and representatives of the ESOT-ETPO Alliance have supported all phases of the the development of this project, including designing of the content, validation and future dissemination activities.
