Venue:

Domus Australia is located at Via Cernaia (at the corner of Via Castelfidardo), inside the walls of the old city of Rome and is five minutes walk from Porta Pia. From the Domus, it is a comfortable walk to the famous shopping area of the Via Veneto, the Spanish Steps and the beautiful gardens of the Villa Borghese.

By train:

The Domus is ten minutes walk from Stazione Termini (Rome’s main railway station), 300 metres from Repubblica Metro and within 150 metres of many major bus routes – including those to the Vatican. It provides an ideal base from which to explore historic Rome and the Vatican.

Once at Termini Station, Domus Australia is walking distance (a flat walk which will take 5-10 minutes). After getting off the train, walk to the main station concourse (where there are the shops, ticket office etc). You will need to exit the station on the right (keeping the train platforms behind you) into Via Marsala. Continue walking (Via Marsala eventually becomes Via Volturno) straight ahead until you reach Via Cernaia. Once you reach the intersection of Via Volturno and Via Cernaia, turn right into Via Cernaia. Domus Australia is located on the other side of the street at number 14/b, opposite the Trimani Wine Bar.

From Fiumicino Airport: By taxi direct to Domus Australia – approximate cost is €48 By private car transfer from the airport (which can be arranged in advance through Domus Australia) – a driver will be waiting for your flight, with a car ready (please make a booking with our Reservations desk which can also provide pricing and other information) By Terravision bus to Termini (Rome’s main central station) which is located about 10 minutes walk from Domus Australia.
