The ESOT Grants Programme aims to promote the education and career development of both European and non-European transplant professionals. By visiting European transplant centres and participating in ESOT education programmes, participants are provided with state-of-the-art opportunities for scientific exchange and collaboration.
All grant recipients are required to be ESOT members in good standing with up-to-date fee payments at the time of the application and for the whole duration of the programme in case of a successful application.
Applications for the 2027 edition of the ESOT Grants Programme open on 4 August 2026 and close on 6 October 2026.

There are 2 ESOT Transplant Fellowships available – a Basic Science/Translational Science fellowship and a Clinical fellowship – to support European transplant professionals in acquiring knowledge and skills by working at a European Transplant Centre for a period of one year.
5 Sevda Hassan Mobility Grants (Europe) are available for European transplant professionals who wish to visit a European Transplant Centre to acquire specific knowledge and skills important for the applicant’s overall career progression and the overall progress of the applicant’s institution.
3 ESOT Mobility Grants (International) are available to support non-European transplant professionals to visit a European Transplant Centre for a variable period to acquire specific knowledge and skills important for their career progression.
20 ESOT Learning Grants are available to support European transplant professionals to attend an ESOT course/masterclass or an ESOT scientific meeting.
5 ESOT Learning Grants are available in support of non-European transplant professionals to attend an ESOT course/masterclass or an ESOT scientific meeting.
