The ESOT Grants Programme aims to promote the education and career development of both European and non-European transplant professionals. By visiting European transplant centres and participating in ESOT education programmes, participants are provided with state-of-the-art opportunities for scientific exchange and collaboration.
All grant recipients are required to be ESOT members in good standing with up-to-date fee payments at the time of the application and for the whole duration of the programme in case of a successful application.
Applications for the 2026 edition of the ESOT Grants Programme will open on Monday, 30 June and will close on Monday, 6 October.
There are two ESOT Transplant Fellowships available – a Basic Science/Translational Science fellowship and a Clinical fellowship – in support of European transplant professionals to acquire knowledge and skills by working in a European Transplant Centre for a period of one year.
Five Sevda Hassan Mobility Grants (Europe) are available for European transplant professionals who wish to visit a european Transplant Centre to acquire specific knowledge and skills important for the applicant’s overall career progression and the overall progress of the applicant’s institution.
Three ESOT Mobility Grants (International) are available to support non-European transplant professionals to visit a European Transplant Centre for a variable period to acquire specific knowledge and skills important for their career progression.
Twenty ESOT Learning Grants are available to support European transplant professionals to attend an ESOT course/masterclass or an ESOT scientific meeting.
Five ESOT Learning Grants are available tin support of non-European transplant professionals to attend an ESOT course/masterclass or an ESOT scientific meeting.
