Description & Objectives:

This is the largest meeting in Europe where experts in the field of pancreas and islet transplantation can get together to share knowledge, experiences and outcomes. It is such a small niche area this meeting is critical to the working objectives for many beta cell programs and education for everyone involved in beta cell replacement.

Educational Objectives
After attending this workshop participants will be able to:

  • Guide expertise in islet isolation and
  • patient management
  • Aspects of Immunology and current immunosuppression relevant to patients have beta cell replacement
  • Complex case discussions 
  • Management of infectious disease in transplant patients
  • Knowledge dissemination with social media

Scientists, allied healthcare professionals, clinicians including trainees, physicians and surgeons.
