Description & Objectives:

This is the largest meeting in Europe in the field of beta cell replacement, including pancreas and islet transplantation and stem cell-derived insulin-secreting cells. Scientists, clinicians, students, and the technical staff share knowledge, experiences and outcomes. This meeting is critical to guide young professionals and collectively provide a European and International Consensus.

– Basic Science
– Clinical pancreas
– Clinical allo-islet
– Clinical auto-islet

As well as Case studies for presentation during the workshop:
– Clinical Pancreas
– Clinical Islet


Awards

The 16th EPITA Symposium will award the highest-scoring abstracts:

  • Best Oral Presentation (500 EUR)
  • Best Poster (250 EUR)
  • Best Pitch Presentation (12-month ESOT membership)

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the ESOT Team at registrations@esot.org.
From the launch of the registration platform until 2 months before the event (from 28 July until 24 November)

  • Name changes are permitted with no penalty.
  • Cancellations are permitted and registration fee will be reimbursed with an administrative fee of 50 EUR.

From 2 months until the event start (from 25 November until 26 January)

  • Name changes are permitted with an administrative fee of 60 EUR per change
  • Cancellations are not refundable.
  • Onsite badge reprinting has an administrative fee of 45 EUR per reprinting.
