ESOT and Chiesi came together to co-develop an educational and support programme aimed at transplant recipients. The project’s focus is on improving health literacy, which is a crucial factor for post-transplant success and quality of life. The initiative aims to create a customisable, gamified online portal where transplant recipients of kidney, heart, lung, or liver organs can access reliable, expert-driven information in an engaging format. The educational platform combines informative videos, downloadable materials, and interactive tests, all designed to address common concerns and facilitate patient understanding of their new condition.

TransplantGo is powered by ESOT and supported by Chiesi Farmaceutici with an unconditional grant. Sponsorship funding from Chiesi Farmaceutici is used solely for the
development and maintenance of the website. Chiesi Farmaceutici has not participated in the development of nor has it exercised any influence over the content of the
platform.
