Lecturer of General Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine in the module of “Systematic Pathology 2” (in Italian and English courses) and of General Specialist Surgery at the Faculty of Nursing Sciences at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. Professor of General Surgery at the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery at the University ” Nostra Signora del Buon Consiglio”, Tirana, Albania. He was Surgical Research Fellow at the Liver Transplant Unit of Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, UK from 2005 to 2008. The areas of research he deals with, publishing a series of scientific papers and participating in various international conferences as speaker, mainly concern liver and kidney transplantation: studies on tolerance in organ transplants; immunosuppressive therapy in organ transplants with particular attention to new drugs; evaluation and identification of predictive factors
of tolerance in liver transplantation, in collaboration with other European institutions; new techniques of perfusion of the abdominal organs during multi-organ sampling.
