Dr Jelena Stojanovic is dedicated to improving care of children with end stage renal disease by helping facilitate successful renal transplantation. Renal transplantation improves quality of life which is essential for children during their growth and education.

After graduating from Lakeville Senior High School in Minnesota, USA, Dr Stojanovic studied medicine at University of Belgrade in Serbia. After qualifying in 2002, she undertook an educational fellow post at Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Dr Stojanovic’s general paediatric training took place in Newcastle upon Tyne and her subspecialty nephrology training at Great Ormond Street Hospital and Evelina London Children’s Hospital.

After two years as a Consultant at Evelina London, Dr Stojanovic joined the transplant team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. She also looks after children with reno-vascular hypertension and is co-leading the development of liver-renal transplant service in London.
