Eric Epailly, graduated in Medicine in 1990, completed his clinical fellowship in cardiorespiratory physiology department of University Hospital of Strasbourg France. He became medical Director of the Heart and Heart-Lung Transplantation Program of Strasbourg in 1995.
Dr Epailly has been involved the follow-up of heart transplant recipients. He performed more than 5000 endomyocardial biopsies. His research path was focused on immunosuppressive therapy after heart transplant, and antibody mediated rejection. He is President of Est Transplant since 2003 and member of the Scientific Council of the French Transplant Society. He is a reviewer for several medical journals, and is currently associate editor of Transplantation.
