I am a transplant physician at Grenoble-Alpes University Hospital, France. I am currently an assistant professor in the Nephrology unit. My research interests focus on kidney transplantation epidemiology and the evaluation of the immune response while under immuno-suppressive drugs. Using pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and immunology tools, my aim is to assess the immune response as precisely as possible to guide our prescriptions. Given our local desensitization program in kidney transplantation, I try to apply these tools to highly immuno-depressed patients. The goal is to get a better picture of immune function and immune reconstitution during and after desensitization and kidney transplantation. I also have a strong interest in Teaching and participate in students&; training and education, daily by teaching residents, but also by teaching medical students. As of November of 2020, I will have the opportunity to investigate the immune reconstitution following desensitization protocols in the lab of Oriol Bestard, at Bellvitge Hospital in Barcelona (Spain). I have the good fortune to be the recipient of a Transplant Fellowship Funding from the ESOT itself and am very looking forward to working on this topic together with the team in Barcelona ! We will also have the opportunity to work with the team of Farsad Eskandari, Georg Böhmig and Pr Rainer Oberbauer, also focusing on their desensitized patients. This European project is very promising and exciting !
