Scope

The ESOT Grants Programme aims to promote the education and career development of both European and non-European transplant professionals. By visiting European transplant centres and participating in ESOT education programmes, participants are provided with state-of-the-art opportunities for scientific exchange and collaboration.

All grant recipients are required to be ESOT members in good standing with up-to-date fee payments at the time of the application and for the whole duration of the programme in case of a successful application.

Applications for the 2025 edition of the ESOT Grants Programme are closed.

ESOT Educational Scholarship

Twenty ESOT Educational Scholarships are available to support young European transplant professionals who wish to attend ESOT courses and masterclasses or ESOT scientific meetings.

Sevda Hassan Study Scholarship

Five Sevda Hassan Study Scholarships are available for European transplant professionals who wish to visit a European Transplant Centre to acquire specific knowledge and skills important for the applicant’s overall career progression and the overall progress of the applicant’s institution. The duration of the programme is between two weeks and six months.

ESOT Travel Global Grant

Three ESOT Travel Global Grants are available to support non-European transplant professionals who wish to visit a European Transplant Centre to gain specific knowledge and skills important for the applicant’s overall career progression and for the overall progress of the applicant’s institution.

ESOT Transplant Fellowship

There are two ESOT Transplant Fellowships available – a Basic Science/Translational Science fellowship and a Clinical fellowship – to acquire knowledge and skills by working in a European Transplant Centre for one year.
