Description & Objectives:

The aim of this webinar is to learn about the current status of the different platforms available for ex-vivo perfusion of intrathoracic organs, their indications and future perspectives. In the first part of the webinar, focused on lung perfusion, specific therapies to eliminate HCV transmission, different strategies to optimise lung quality and biomarkers to predict lung function after exvivo will be presented. The second module will provide an update on cardiac exvivo perfusion systems.

Heart/lung physicians and surgeons, perfusionists, nurses and anaesthesiologists involved in solid organ transplantation.
