Description & Objectives:

In our upcoming free webinar, “Living with CLAD – When the Life-Saving Treatment Fails,” we will explore the burden of CLAD through a clinical and patient-centered lens. The session focuses onwhat it truly means to live with CLAD and how we, as a healthcare community, can better respond to patients’ needs.

Why This Webinar Matters

CLAD affects not only lung function, but daily life, mental well-being, and long-term care planning. Patients and caregivers face uncertainty, complex symptoms, and difficult decisions.

This webinar will:

  • Provide an update on the burden of CLAD
  • Highlight the patient perspective and lived experience
  • Discuss practical, non-pharmacological, and symptomatic care options
  • Explore how respiratory rehabilitation and palliative care can be integrated into treatment pathways

Our goal is simple: to address unmet needs and support better, more compassionate care for people living with CLAD.

Learning Objectives

By attending, participants will:

  • Gain insight into the key challenges and unanswered questions from the patient perspective
  • Understand how respiratory physiotherapy can support patients with CLAD
  • Learn how to implement palliative care measures in a structured and meaningful way
