During this Journal Club, we will discuss the article “Antimicrobial resistance: a growing problem among solid organ transplant recipients”.
Antimicrobial resistance is a growing global health problem. Also after solid organ transplantation, difficult-to-treat microorganisms are an important cause of morbidity and mortality. In this Journal Club, a comprehensive review of new antibiotics against multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria and their efficacy and safety in solid organ transplant recipients will be presented.
