Next spring (March 28th and 29th), the French-speaking Society of Organ Transplantation is launching a new annual meeting, whose ambition is to gather searchers and clinicians around fast-moving and highly topical fields of investigation, in order to foster exchanges and collaborations. Named « Spring Highlights in Transplantation Sciences (Spring HITS) », this seminar will be featuring an intense, transdisciplinary and uplifting program. The participation of international key opinion leaders will stimulate discussion and lay the groundwork for future collaborations. The first opus will be dedicated to the recent giant step forward in Xenotransplantation, highlighting regulatory constraints, ethical questioning, immunological and microbiological challenges.
