The Masterclass in Cardiothoracic Organ Retrieval, Transplantation and Mechanical Circulatory Support, besides its surgical components, also focuses on communication and team approach to organ retrieval and transplantation. The event covers complex multiorgan DCD retrievals, including cardiothoracic organ retreival with ongoing abdominal NRP. The masterclass also covers all aspects of heart and lung transplantion, including the very rare heart-lung en-block transplantation.
