Description & Objectives:

LiDO is a world-renown and well-established masterclass on live donor nephrectomy designed according to education-on-demand principles. Participants are mentored by internationally recognised leaders in the field in a state-of-the-art Skills Lab facility within a leading European transplant unit. This masterclass also provides short interactive theoretical lectures on living donation and practical sessions on various operation techniques, including tips and tricks for live donor nephrectomy.

The 2022 edition of the LiDO will be held in a blended format, with online preparatory activities and a 3-day in person programme, to be held in Rotterdam from June 29 to July 1.

Target Group:

Transplant surgeons or urologists in a transplant fellowship or consultant position who want to start a live kidney donation programme and enrich their surgical skills for live donor nephrectomy.

Please note that the maximum number of participants for this course is 12.

Accreditation:

The on-site programme of the LiDO 2022 Masterclass has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) to award 20 CME credits (ECMEC®s).

Participants will be able to combine the CME credits for the on-site portion and the ones for the online preparatory activities which are accredited by EACCME® to award 5 CME credits (ECMEC®s).

Invoices
Invoices will be issued only for payments made by bank transfer.

Cancellation Policy
There will be no refunds once your registration has been confirmed. However, should the event be cancelled due to restrictions related to the SARS-CoV-2 emergency, participants will be able to either keep their booking for the next available edition of the event or to get a full refund.

Should ESOT decide to cancel in-person courses, this will be communicated to all registered participants a month before the start date of the event.
