Join us for the third workshop in the ACADEMIA series: Qualitative Research: Methods for a Person-center Approach.

Why should you bother with qualitative research methods? Aren’t p-values enough? Why not challenge yourself with a different approach to knowledge and understanding of human behavior by attending this workshop on qualitative and mixed methods research? Qualitative research provides an opportunity to gain access to the inside perspective on health and quality of life before and after transplantation, as it demands a new ontological point of departure when discussing transplant care. Guided by leading experts, this workshop will teach you:

    • The core principles of data collection and data analysis in qualitative research
    • A worked example to demonstrate the challenges and opportunities in qualitative and mixed methods research
    • How to make an informed choice of a qualitative method
