VCA has opened a new era in the field of transplantation, reconstructive and restorative surgery. This Section brings together 10 representatives of major European teams at the forefront in this field.
The fourth course of split liver transplantation will have a hybrid format. All registered participants will be able to follow the videoconference, and those specifically registered to attend will be able to practice «live» with cadaveric livers. There will be no limitation for online registrations but limited 20 places for attendees. During the course, not only the anatomical principles of the split technique will be addressed, but also how it is planned (logistics, sequence offering…) at a national level, how to increase the donor pool, the techniques for vascular reconstruction in the recipient and long-term outcomes in the pediatric population.
