EPITA is established to provide a forum for those working in the field of pancreas and islet of Langerhans transplantation or any other alternative form of beta cell replacement in Europe, to exchange scientific information and views related primarily to providing the best service for patients in Europe requiring pancreas or islet transplantation.

This year’s programme focuses on “Advancing hepatology: navigating guidelines, embracing innovation, and shaping future strategies.” It covers a wide range of topics, including steatotic liver diseases, viral hepatitis, cholestatic liver diseases, endo-hepatology, liver transplantation, liver cancer, and much more.
The course aims to educate attendees on the latest developments and guidelines in hepatology. Learning objectives include gaining insights into the management of various liver diseases, understanding emerging therapies for viral hepatitis, and exploring innovative individualised therapy and public health strategies.
