A new robust tool for assessing the risk of rejection, graft function decline and graft loss in kidney transplant patients will significantly help long-term graft survival in end stage renal diseases – a critical issue that has not improved in the past 15 years.
ESOT is one of the primary supporters of this EU funded project and is responsible for sharing information, updates and news regarding the project’s progress and outcomes. This will include regular updates to the transplantation community via the usual channels and the following activities:
A dedicated EU-TRAIN session at the ESOT Congress 2021, where project leaders will share updates, progress and data from the 1st phase of patient trials.
The shortlisted applicants are requested to attend the ESOT Congress in-person in Milan (or online if travel restrictions apply), during which the winners will be announced. The shortlisted candidates will each receive a free congress registration and a travel grant of €500. • The awardees should choose which of the three distinct research groups they want to visit (Paris Transplant Group, Nantes Transplant Group and Barcelona Transplant Group) and schedule their stay by September 2022 (Date to be approved in consultation with the chosen research group).
An ESOT award (a free congress registration and a travel grant of €500) to 5 digital clinical scientists, at either beginner, intermediate or advanced level.
