I am a consultant surgeon in transplantation and dialysis access at Guy’s Hospital in London, UK , with a special interest in living and deceased donor kidney, pancreas and paediatric transplantation as well as dialysis access surgery.
I graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki in Greece. I completed my training in general surgery in a university hospital in
Thesaloniki, Greece and I was awarded my CCT in 2015. I hold a MSc in Medical Research Methodology. I have been training in kidney, liver and pancreas transplantation in two major transplant centers – Guy’s Hospital and Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. I have also been trained in paediatric transplantation in Evelina
Children Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. I have a number of
publications in peer-reviewed journals. I am a member of ESOT since 2016.
