I am an Assistant Professor and Consultant Transplant and hepato-bilio-pancreatic surgeon at the Federico II University Hospital of Naples (Italy). I have a special interest in minimally invasive surgery (robotic and laparoscopic) and artificial intelligence (AI) in surgery and surgical training.
I completed the General Surgery specialty training at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy) in 2016 with honours, a PhD cum laude in the field of liver transplantation at the same University in 2018 and Fellowships in Transplant and HPB Surgery at Oxford University Hospitals (UK), Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (UK), Royal Free Hospital (London, UK), Guy’s Hospital (London, UK).
Since 2019, I am a Fellow of the European Board of Surgery, division of Transplantation.
