ELPAT Psychological Care WG Chair

Dr. Inês Mega is a Clinical and Health Psychologist and a Psychotherapist for the Hepato-Biliar-Pancreatic and Transplantation Department of the Curry Cabral Hospital in Lisbon, Portugal. She is an affiliated teacher for NOVA Medical School on topics such as doctor-patient relationship, breaking bad news, adherence and communication skills in healthcare.

Since 2013 she is an active member of ELPAT -(Ethical, Legal and Psychosocial Aspects of Transplantation), and currently holds the position of chair for the Psychological Care group for donors and recipients.

A trained psychotherapist she has been studying and researching the relationship between organ transplantation and Psychoanalysis.
