Dr. Fabian Eibensteiner is currently working at the Division for Pediatric Nephrology and Gastroenterology at the Medical University of Vienna with a particular focus on paediatric kidney transplantation. His main research interests focus on translational (biomarker) research concerning complications of paediatric kidney transplantation and renal replacement therapy, with a strong focus on computational (and spatial) multi-omic approaches, as well as translational-to-clinical immunomonitoring approaches for early detection of potential complications (i.e., rejection, infection) and facilitation of early intervention to improve outcomes of paediatric kidney recipients.
